Description/Significance
The project included a new football field with Filed Turf synthetic surface, new lighting, scoreboards track and field fixtures and other equipment.

Construction of the fields involved removal of the existing football playing surface and the demolition and removal of athletic field equipment and accessories, including scoreboard, runways, puts and other fixtures for track and field events.

In addition to field improvements, Sargent completed a series of drainage improvements, including construction of a large retention pond and two small retention ponds, and the installation of 1,000 feet of 24” and 36” storm drain pipes and catch basins.

This project was very demanding because of a tight deadline and complicated schedule. The physical area in which the work was performed was limited. The crews worked six days a week throughout the entire project in order to complete the project in time for Colby’s first home football game.
