Description/Significance
This 25 acre retail site when finished will have over 200,000 square feet of retail space and house a Harris Teeter Grocery Store. Overall, the project required 215,000 cubic yards of excavation to fill and 30,800 cy of drilling & blasting to balance the site. Sargent is also responsible for all the utilities, including:
8,900 feet of drainage pipe
90 Precast drainage structures
5,493 feet of roof drain lines
5,465 feet of sewer force main
9,104 feet of water line
1 pond for water storage
