Description/Significance
Construction of Taxiway “U” South (2,384 feet by 75 feet), construct Bypass Taxiway and construct Taxiway “G” Connector at Richmond International Airport. Construction includes a new storm drain system and upgrades to taxiway lighting system. Project is divided into seven distinct phases allowing construction of the new taxiway and connectors while maintaining existing airport traffic. Construction of this project commenced November 27, 2000.

Construction of this project was completed in mid August 2001 and a Change Order, valued at over 25% of the original contract was negotiated for the construction of 625 feet of Taxiway “A” South. Completed in June 2002.
